Born and raised in Nîmes, Philippe discovered skiing at the age of 5. Every year, he looked forward to the winter vacation to practice his passion and enjoy the mountains. An ESF Val Thorens instructor since 2000, he particularly loves downhill skiing and cross-country skiing, as well as off-piste runs.
Philippe's vocation as a teacher grew out of his admiration for instructors and the world of skiing. He loves all the different facets of his job: the variety of exercises, the human relationships and the constant contact with the snow. Thanks to his in-depth knowledge of the area, he can offer excellent guidance to all levels of skiers, even beginners.
Also a tennis, cycling and swimming enthusiast, Philippe has devoted most of his career to teaching skiing. His favorite slopes in Val Thorens? The Caron black slopes and the Guillon niche at Le Bouchet.
