Fulvio at Val Thorens was fantastic - full of good advice, built our confidence and relaxed/ fun! He made my week of ski school very enjoyable.
I originally had Denis as my instructor and he was brilliant. I ended up moving into a different class with an instructor called Thomas as I couldn’t quite keep up with the rest of the group. This was also a class 2. I would love if he could get some form of recognition as he was absolutely fantastic. His teaching was fatntastic, he was able to adapt and get us to look at things in a different way if we couldn’t get it the first time. The way he really pushed us to do things we would have never done on our own is amazing. He made the lessons fun. My ability from the start until the end of the week really progressed massively. He was very patient when I was very scared and didn’t want to move. He boosted my confidence massively and really made my holiday great. Thank you Thomas
Esf is best ski school for children in the alps in my opinion my daughters teacher in Val Thorens Marian was extremely thourgh in her technical instruction to my 8 year old my daughter has skied 6 years and was early lu capable of passing gold star as she had passed 2 times already but her teacher was still able to get her to improve in technical issues . Much better than the funky chicken approach of Austrian ski schools .and I think English ski teacher who say bad things about the Esf are very wrong Perhaps it's because they lack the ability to be an Esf ski instuctor. I also find Esf are great value and the staff have an intimate knowledge of the resort they work in which is not always the case in the alps
