Born and raised in Ribeauvillé (Alsace), Stéphane learned to ski at the age of 2 with his father. Since then, the pleasures of skiing never left him, to the point of making it his profession. A ski instructor in Val Thorens since 2000, he is particularly proud of the fact that some of his former pupils have become true ski experts.
Sharing and a taste for challenge are a big part of Stéphane's teaching approach. Patient and caring, he never hesitates to get feedback from his students during his lessons. Exchanging ideas with them is essential to help them progress.
Also an avid hiker, scuba diver and cyclist, Stéphane has already had the chance to ski in Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Canada. Before arriving in Val Thorens, he took part in various competitions in his native Vosges. Thanks to the ESF, he lives his passion every day and shares it with his family.
