Sylvain has been a snow sports and mountain enthusiast since the age of three. He chose to pass on his passion by becoming a ski instructor and has been teaching for 23 years at the ESF in Val Thorens. As any good teacher, he takes the time to adapt to the pace and needs of each student.
Working in the field of leisure activities and skiing was an obvious choice for him. Sylvain particularly appreciates the thrill of winter sports, and that’s why he entered the world of competition when he was young. Several times Girsa champion and ranked in the French top 10 giant skiers, he finally decided to put his knowledge to good use.
In his spare time, Sylvain remains a sportsman and a challenger at heart. When he's not looking after his children, he enjoys kite surfing, running, trail running and cycling, all in competition.
