At Val Thorens, we offer fun and stimulating activities for all ages. There are lots of ways to introduce the little ones to the joys of skiing and snowboarding in the 3 Vallées resort.
Among the many activities, the esf is offering young children the chance to take part in an event that has been a must for several seasons now, the Draisienne Cup.
Sadly, it didn't happen last year, but in 2026 we're making up for lost time: youngsters will be able to swap skis for bikes for an exceptional day out!
Draisienne Cup: discover the event for toddlers in Val Thorens
The Draisienne Cup is the perfect opportunity for the little ones to enjoy the pleasure of sliding in a completely different way. Launched in 2023 in the resort of Val Thorens, this race welcomes children aged 2 to 6 for a moment of unparalleled fun.
Around sixty children set off on their draisienne, with skates added to make it easier to ride on the packed snow, to reach the finish line as quickly as possible.
The little champions, who will also have had the opportunity to train in the resort during the children's draisienne evenings organised during the school holidays, will enjoy embarking on this adventure that is as entertaining as it is rewarding. It's a great way for them to learn about snow sports and have fun at the same time!

Draisienne Cup 2025 postponed to 2026
After two seasons of the Draisienne Cup in Val Thorens, the event unfortunately had to take a break in 2025. However, we'll be back in April 2026 for even more fun and festivities!

Supervised by expert instructors, children aged 2 to 5 will be able to work on their balance and coordination in a safe environment for their next holiday in the resort, or to prepare as well as possible for our next race.
