The ibex, that emblematic mountain animal, the "King of the Alps", has arrived in the ESF Val Thorens kindergarten. But what does this mean in practice? Well, for the very youngest, there's now a wooden play structure in the image of this mammal.

A giant ibex in Val Thorens to entertain children
ESF Val Thorens is constantly innovating to ensure that your children leave with lots of great memories. Our latest acquisition? A giant wooden Ibex, complete with ladder, a fun structure with a total height of 5.30 m (accessible to children up to 2.23 m) has just been added to the school's Montana garden.
Children aged 3 and over can now climb the ibex, play and slide down its slide between ski lessons. Made from sustainable natural wood and tested in an independent laboratory, this structure is as beautiful as it is fun.
Installed on a flexible platform, it's sure to delight budding skiers, as you can play and hide under and on top of the ibex. Several modules are also available, for even more fun.

Why a playground in the shape of an ibex in Val Thorens? This choice was not made by chance. First of all, this mammal is a true emblem of the Alps. Perhaps you've already spotted one when you've been hiking in the mountains?
Secondly, it helps to familiarise children with this majestic animal and inspire them to get to know it, and even protect it.
Installed in the ESF's Montana kindergarten, this wooden Ibex also makes this safe area even more fun for children. Apprentice skiers already have access to a number of modules and decorations on site, but this new play area is a real bonus!

Fully equipped premises, fun games and activities on the programme, learning in a secure kindergarten... Budding skiers have everything they need to discover the joys of skiing at the ESF Val Thorens Mini Club, all in good fun.
