Embrace the summits with ski paragliding: a breathtaking experience!

Today, major ski resorts like Val Thorens offer a wide variety of activities for you to discover on your own, with friends or as a family. This diversity allows the most adventurous among you to enjoy unique and original experiences, in breathtaking snow-covered landscapes.

Ski paragliding is one of the many activities on offer, as most of it takes place in the air. It's the perfect way to enjoy an unparalleled view of the nearest peaks in the ski area!

It's a completely different way of discovering natural areas, as you find yourself soaring above the peaks of the Vallée des Belleville and the ski slopes. The 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains is incomparable and can only be achieved this way, making it a privileged experience.

Paragliding on skis is an exceptional activity open to anyone who has already passed class 2, the equivalent of the blue runway. This is an important condition, as take-off and landing are always carried out on skis.

It is therefore preferable to be comfortable on skis so that these key moments take place in the best possible conditions. Dressed in your best ski clothes and with a Val Thorens ski pass, you can then join the esf instructor in charge of the mission at the meeting point set aside for this purpose. This is usually at the bottom of the Boismint chairlift.

Once you arrive at the meeting point, the Esf instructor will ask you to take the chairlift to the take-off point. This is at the top of the Boismint chairlift, near the Haute Combe piste, at an altitude of 2,671 m.

The instructor will then take the time to settle you in and explain how the activity works. The gentle slope will then offer you a most enjoyable glide on skis, followed by a majestic paragliding flight over Val Thorens and the surrounding area.
