If you're planning to attend the Étoile d'Or 2025 with your family, there are also a number of competition courses available for youngsters who have already won the Étoile d'Or. Open to children aged 8 and over, these à la carte ski courses can take place over one morning or five days, as you wish.
During an ESF Val Thorens competition course, the children and teenagers taking part are supervised by attentive qualified instructors. The hours are divided between tailor-made training sessions, technical courses and timed tests in the stadium.
To take part, junior skiers first need to register in advance, buy a lift pass and choose suitable clothing (suitable piste skis, back protection, helmet). With all this in place, they'll be able to measure themselves against other skiers of the same age and put themselves in the shoes of real snow sports professionals!
